Gatotech help providing connectivity to the Internet of Things (IoT) devices deployed across the covered territories. These devices are enabling the birth of a smart world around us, monitoring and controlling a wide variety of variables.

by Helium Inc.

Helium defines itself as the People’s Network. It is the world’s first (and most popular) peer-to-peer wireless network that provides a secure and cost-effective way to provide long-range connectivity for low-power Internet of Things devices to send data to and from the Internet.

Our miners

We work with Cal Chip Connect Hotspots v2.0 miners like the one below, these units use only 5w of power and are true battle horses.

Our setups

Faithful to our priority of better serving the needs of the network, we have decided for broadcasting the signal of our IoT transceiver evenly around the chosen positions. At the moment this node is using its stock omni-directional antenna, with 2.8dBi of gain, installed at a height of 8m.

Our coverage

The first of our hotspots is currently installed in a suburban locality of the Greater Glasgow area, in the image below you can see an approximate coverage map, please consider this map is just a theoretical calculation of “line of sight”, as no field measurements have been performed. Therefore, not a guaranteed coverage statement.
